Braille Tutorial Instructions
This tutorial uses the same keyboard configuration as a Braille Note. A Braille Note is a device used to type directly in Braille. Imagine splitting the six dots in half up through the middle and rotating each side upwards and out. The dots line up in a straight line. Placing them onto a keyboard makes three dots for each hand. Each of the dots is labeled with a number. First the left hand fingers: index is 1, middle is 2, ring is 3. Next the right hand fingers: index is 4, middle is 5, ring is 6. Since our medium is a computer keyboard, that is the same as f, d, s, then j, k, l.
Additionally, the tutorial comes equipped with some controls you should know:
- Esc l : Reverse Lookup - For when you would like to translate something from Braille
- Enter : Prompt the current problem again
- Space : Reveal the answer
- a : Navigate back one problem
- ' : Navigate forward one problem
- Shift + A : Navigate back one section
- Shift + " : Navigate forward one section
- Backspace : Mark the current problem correct
